Please feel free to read through these frequently asked questions. If you have any other questions, please drop us a line by clicking here.

  1. Can I have a power boat?
Yes. There is a public boat launch a short distance down the lake. As well, each cabin has its own private dock. Minimal boat traffic and clean water make this an excellent water sport lake. Bring your own life jackets as limited sizes are available.

  2. What linen is provided?
Household linen, which includes bedding and towels, is provided. Unfortunately, due to limited laundry turnaround time for our housekeeper, we are unable to provide beach towels and you may wish to bring your own.
  1. Is there a store near by?
The town of Tulameen has an old-fashioned general store. They sell some grocery and hardware items, liquor and gas and also have a post office and restaurant. Princeton is 25 minutes away for your larger shopping needs.

  2. Are there fish in the lake?
Otter Lake has many fish and your kids will enjoy catching them right off the dock.

  3. What is the beach and entry to the lake like?
The entry to the lake is very gradual with sand making it ideal for the little ones so you may wish to bring some sand toys for them to play with. We recommend that that young children be supervised at all times near the water and wear a life jacket.

  4. Is there anything else we should know?
There are basketball hoops beside each cabin. We recommend that you bring your own ball as balls are not always available. Some bicycles are provided, however, guests are responsible to wear and provide their own helmets.

  5. Is there a fire pit and wood available?
Each cabin has its own fire pit. Wood is also provided.

  6. What is the quality of the tap water?
Our water is well water which is filtered through a water treatment system. However, some guests may prefer to bring their own drinking water as the taste may vary from what they're accustomed to.
